The CIC provides a conference call bridging service for use at
no cost by CIC groups wishing to use audio conferencing.
To reserve this service, please contact the CIC main office
by phone at (217) 333-8475 or email at cic@cic.net.
Instructions:
You will be given a phone number to call at your scheduled meeting
time (this is not a toll-free number and you will be responsible
for all long distance charges you incur).
If you are the first person attending the call, it will ring
until the second person joins. Each participant that joins will
have to introduce his or herself because there is no operator
to do so.
To help ensure effective audio conferencing, it is recommended
that each speaker mute his or her phone when they are not talking
and to always identify themselves first before joining the conversation.
