The CIC Chief
Information Officers have contracted with the Internet2
Commons to provide multipoint video conferencing services
for CIC groups interested in using IP (Internet Protocol) video
conferencing utilizing H.323 standards.
The multipoint
service allows for more than two sites to participate in the same
video conference. There is no charge to you for this service,
however, each participant site must use its own video conferencing
equipment and pay any related fees on their campus. To locate
available video conferencing facilities and support on your campus,
take a look at the CIC
Campus Endpoint Directory, or contact your CIC
Video Conferencing Support Representative.

Troubleshooting
If you have general questions regarding CIC Video Conferencing,
please contact Galen Rafferty (217-265-0848 by phone or email
graffert@staff.cic.net).
If you have problems getting in to a video conference, first check
that the Gatekeeper IP address for your video conferencing unit
is in accordance with the confirmation email you received. Once
that is set, you should be able to get in.
