There is a room block available for CIC TechForum, and the room rate will be $102.00 per night for single or double occupancy rooms. Each additional person is $15.00.
The deadline for the room block is August 19, 2005.

If you require accommodations on either September 11 or September 14, you may reserve for those nights for the University of Minnesota rate of $105.00. You must call the hotel to make these arrangements, as the online form will not give you that rate for those days.


Travel to Hotel from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport

Light Rail: Metro Transit Hiawatha Line
The best way to reach the Radisson Hotel Metrodome is using the fast, clean, and inexpensive Light Rail which picks up in either terminal at the airport. Fare from the airport is $2.00 during rush time (M-F 6-9am and 3-6:30pm), and $1.50 at other times. Tickets can be purchased at the station in the airport.

Take the Light Rail to the Downtown East/Metrodome station, then call the Radisson (612-379-8888) and request courtesy shuttle pickup (complimentary transportation within a five-mile radius).

Taxi
If you wish take a taxi to the Radisson Hotel Metrodome, follow signs to the cab starter booth which is one level up from the tram level. Downtown is approximately a 16 mile trip, with fares averaging about $25.00. All cab fares are metered and include a $2.25 trip fee.


Driving to the Conference

Driving from the East via Interstate 94
Follow I-94W to the Huron Boulevard exit; at the second traffic light, make a left turn onto Washington Avenue. PRoceed to 615 Washington Avenue S.E. Parking ramp for the hotel is at Washington Ave. and Harvard St. (connected to the hotel via skyway).

Driving from the South via Interstate 35W
Follow I-35W north to the U of M East Bank exit, 17C. Stay in the far right lane and exit onto Washington Ave. S.E. Proceed to 615 Washington Avenue S.E. Parking ramp for the hotel is at Washington Ave. and Harvard St. (connected to the hotel via skyway).
