About the Technology Coordination Committee
The Technology Coordination Committee (TCC) is comprised of the
chairs of all the CIO endorsed or supported groups along with
liaisons from select related groups and is chaired by a CIC CIO.
The group meets biannually to share information about their respective
groups' activities and explore opportunities for collaboration.
The Technology Coordination Committee (TCC) includes the chairs
of groups that are endorsed and/or supported by the CIC CIOs and
provides opportunities for sharing among colleagues with like
challenges and interests. Each group submits a bi-annual report
which is compiled into the TCC Status Reports. These groups include:
Administrative Information Systems (AIS)
IT Communciations
IT Customer Support Services
IT Financial
IT Human Resources
IT Operations & Infrastructure
IT Security
Learning Technologies
Research Computing
Telecommunications
Videoconferencing
In addition, select other related groups and organizations send
a representative to the TCC. Currently, a representative from
the CIC Library
Information Technology Directors and the Metropolitan
Research & Education Network attend TCC meetings. Although
these groups are not supported by the CIOs, they are involved
with Information Technology issues and projects on CIC campuses
so it is important that the CIO endorsed groups share information
with them.
