Reservations at the Marriott Suites should be made with the
group name "CIC DEO Seminar". The negotiated
rate is $109.00 per night, plus tax. All sessions (except
Thursday
night's dinner at the Rosewood Restaurant) will be at the
Big Ten Athletic Conference Headquarters (about a mile
east
of the Marriott Suites), with free shuttle service provided
between the Marriott Suites and the Big Ten HQ.
The Marriott Suites is located at the intersection of River
Road and Higgins Road in Rosemont, just outside O'Hare Airport.
For those flying in, you can catch the Marriott shuttle at
O'Hare to get to the Suites. No shuttle service is provided
from Midway Airport, so if you fly into Midway you can expect
a 40-minute cab ride.
Attendees may make reservations by calling the hotel at 847-696-4400
and referencing "CIC
DEO Seminar". The cutoff date for the special discounted
rate at the Marriott Suites is March 11th. The discounted
rate at the Marriott Suites is available from March 30th
through April 2 for those who plan to arrive on Wednesday
evening and/or stay over Saturday night.
