The FLEP program was revised in 2006. So please read the directions carefully as these changes may impact your application.

FLEP Application DEADLINE: Friday, February 8, 2008
* exceptions: Minnesota deadline February 11, 2008; Iowa deadline February 15, 2008
For more information, contact the CIC
FLEP campus coordinator on your campus. A list of foreign
languages expected to be taught at the CIC institutions in Summer
2008 will be available at this website in January 2008. You should also check
the host institution's academic
calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts. If you receive a FLEP
scholarship, you may also wish to apply to the CIC
Traveling Scholar Program, which allows you to take the language
course from another CIC university without a change in the registration
process or tuition.
You can complete the application online and then print it out,
or you may print the application and complete it by hand. Applications
should be submitted by Friday, February 8, 2008 to your campus coordinator.
