SROP Eligibility

The program is designed to increase educational access for students from diverse backgrounds. Students from racial and ethnic minority groups and low-income, first-generation students are especially encouraged to apply.

Eligible students must meet the following criteria:

• Be enrolled in a degree-granting program at a college or university.
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Have an interest in pursuing graduate education.
• Be a citizen or a permanent resident of the US.
• Be willing to devote full time to the program during the eight-to-ten week summer session.
